Roses in the Snow

Directions: Heat a pot of apple sauce. Sprinkle in some "red hot" cinnamon candies, (e.g. the type you buy for decorating cakes etc.) The red hots start to melt a little in the apple sauce, and the red coloring would spreads into the sauce. This adds a nice cinnamon taste, and makes an otherwise ordinary applesauce into a warm little treat!
