Blueberry Pudding (Grey Pudding)

Many thanks to Wendy Baker for posting this second yummy blueberry pudding recipe to the Guide Mailing List!

Directions: Squeeze 3 or 4 slices of white bread soaked in water Add 1/4 cup melted butter, 2 tbsp sugar, 1/4 cup molasses, 2 tsp allspice, and 2 tsp cinnamon.

Flour 1 cup of blueberries and add to above. Place whole mixture in the center of a piece of unbleached muslin material and tie with gadget cord. Immerse in Boiling water in can as set out above or in medium pot and boil for 1 hour.

Serve with special sauce:

Directions: Cook until thickened slightly. Pour over pudding and enjoy.
