Mexican Macaroni

Thanks very much to Kathy P. who sent me this recipe. She wrote:

Want a quick recipe for camp that my girls enjoyed? It's especially in keeping with a Mexican theme if you want the flavour but not necessarily the work of tacos, etc. It's very simple, filling and tastes pretty good - it doesn't have a particular name though, we just call it Mexican Macaroni.

Ingredients:

One pound of ground beef
One box of macaroni and cheese dinner (the yellow cheese kind works best)
One can of chilli style stewed tomatoes
Directions: Brown ground beef and drain off excess fat. Stir in can of tomatoes and heat through. Prepare macaroni and cheese dinner as per package instructions. Mix it all together and serve. Add some celery sticks and sour cream dip as a side dish.
