Hummus, Alfalfa Sprouts and Cheese in a Pita

This is my absolute favourite lunch to take along when I am hiking or canoeing. All of the ingredients are fairly lightweight and don't spoil in the heat. This sandwich is full of protein and energy (and besides all that, it tastes great!)

Ingredients: Hummus - can be bought already made in the deli department, or you can purchase the chickpeas and vinegar and make it yourself! I usually buy the store-made stuff. You also need alfalfa sprouts, good sharp cheese, and pita breads.

Directions: Simple. Combine all ingredients into a sandwich, and enjoy!
