Chopsticks
Thanks very much to Gwen Chapman a Guide Guider from Brantford, Ontario, who e-mailed me with this funny idea. I'll let her tell you in her own words...
"We have taken our girls to winter camp. Last year-1997, we did a multicultural camp, where we had Italian food for dinner. We gave them Spaghetti and Caesar salad for dinner. The twist- well we also went Chinese and gave them chopsticks for utensils. Now, most girls didn't know how to use chopsticks, so it was interesting to see! This year, we gave them Lasagne and Caesar... yes again with chopsticks, only because they had such a GREAT time with them last year! We even made them eat cake and ice cream with them. It seems like it is going to be a camp tradition now!!"
