Milk Carton Hot Dogs and Subs

This rather unorthodox method of cooking (well, heating up, really) hot dogs and subs is yet another trick I learned at Camp Woolsey. Take your hot dog wieners and wrap them individually in tinfoil. Place 4-5 wieners inside a cleaned-out 1-L paper milk carton. In a clear area, light the carton on fire. When the carton has burned completely to ashes, the wieners will be hot and cooked through.

You can also toast a submarine sandwich in a similar way - just ensure you wrap the sandwich in a layer of foil, several layers of newspaper and another layer of foil before putting it in the milk carton. Otherwise you will end up with a VERY burned sandwich!
