Golden Cake (Outback Oven)

Thank you to Barb Robinson, who shared this recipe with me from her Guiding Gourmet session at CM'99 Manitoba.

Ingredients:

3/4 c flour
1-1/2 Tbsp instant milk powder
1-1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
4 Tbsp powdered eggs
2 Tbsp margarine or butter
1/3 C white sugar
Equipment:
Outback Oven
Apex II stove
Pot set
Mixing spoon
Measuring Cups
Measuring spoons
Instructions:
Add margarine or butter to dry ingredients in large pot of pot set and mix well, then add 1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon water and mix well. Attach the reflector collar under the burner of the stove. Light the stove. Place the diffuser on the burner with the riser bars up. Place the pot with its lid on, upon the riser bars. Place the Thermometer on the lid of the pot. Place the convention dome on top of the pot ensuring that there is space between the reflector collar and the dome. Bake 20 minutes and let stand 5 minutes (keep an eye on the temperature!).
