Cheesy Bacon Spuds

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp. powdered milk
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 pkg. Betty Crocker home-style instant potato
small block of Cheddar, cut into chunks
3 Tbsp. bacon bits (soy based) or cooked bacon
herbs, such as basil, oregano, chives or green onions

At home: Package all ingredients separately.

At camp: Boil 2 cups of water. In your bowl, combine approximately 1/4 cup of the boiling water with the margarine and powdered milk. Stir until margarine is melted. Add potato flake mixture. Gradually add more water until potatoes are the desired consistency. Add cheese, bacon and/or herbs and stir until cheese is melted. Serves 2 generously.
