Compass Grid
Thanks very much to Bev Spillane, who shared this game with me!
This is a fast, easy game for patrol corners.
Shuffle instruction cards (included on separate page) and place upside-down in a pile.
Provide each player with a copy of the grid, and a marker (button, penny, bingo chip).
Each player puts her marker on the start square.
The first person draws one card, moves her marker as directed, and places the card in a discard pile. Play passes around the group. The winner is the first person who can move her marker off the edge of the grid first.
When all of the instruction cards have been used, shuffle them again.
