Guide History Bingo

Thanks very much to Kim Waumsley, who e-mailed this game to me!

Before this game starts, read the Guide history story to the girls, or have the girls read it at home.

Equipment Needed:

On a large piece of paper write down 30 to 40 words or phrases that deal with Guiding History. For example: Crystal Palace, Cruise Ship, Lord Baden Powell, Lady Baden Powell, Agnes, Scouts, Rally. Put this poster on the wall for all to see. Give each girl a blank bingo card. Don't forget the free square! With their pens, the girls write one of the words or phrases from the poster in each blank square on their card.

Ahead of time, write the words and phrases on small pieces of paper and place them in a jar or envelope. Before starting, announce what girls need in order win, i.e. you win with line across, or the letter T, or just the corners etc. Then one at a time, draw the words/phrases out of the envelope until you have a winner!
