Vortex Introductions
I learned this game at the 2006 OCA Director's Conference, at a session titled “I Just Can't Get Enough - Adventure/Experiential Education in Staff Training", led by Travis Allison and Adam Brown.
Start with a circle that faces out and hold hands. The leader should break apart from the person on his/her right and pull the person on his/her left. Pull the group around the outside of the circle and shake hands with everyone you meet. End with the whole circle facing in. “We came from different directions, but while we're here we're all focused on the same thing.”
