The Right Party
I learned this game at the Barrier Island Environmental Education Centre.
Sit the girls in a circle, ensuring that everyone can see everyone else. The leader starts off by saying: "I am hosting a party. It's not just any party, it's the RIGHT party. And everyone wants to come to the RIGHT party. But to come to the RIGHT party, you have to wear the RIGHT clothes." She then goes on to describe an article of clothing that she will wear to the party. Go around the circle and let everyone have a chance at coming to the party by describing what they are going to wear.
SECRET: To come to the RIGHT party, you need to wear the clothes of the person sitting on your right! Generally when I do this game, in the first round I describe perhaps a shirt or shoes. In the second round I get more detailed, describing most of what the person to my right is wearing. If the girls are really having a hard time figuring out the secret, move yourself to different places around the circle and describe what you'd be wearing to the RIGHT party when sitting in that particular spot.
