First Aid
Requirements:
- One "injured" person... good simulations
include broken leg, broken arm, unconsciousness, etc.
- Two 6ft. poles (again, old ridge poles from canvas
tents work well)
- One large (at least 5ft by 7ft) piece of strong
material (old canvas tent fly, or perhaps a sturdy tarp)
- Various first aid equipment suitable for treating
whatever first aid situation you design
The Set-up: Injured person laying on ground; other
materials piled to the side
The Challenge: Girls must assess the situation, give
the proper first aid for whatever injuries the casualty may have, and transport
the casualty at least 50 feet.
