Guide Program Book Scavenger Hunt

Thanks very much to Wendy Baker, who created this game and shared it with the Guiding Mailing List!

This game could be played by Patrols, with each Patrol being given 10 of the questions to answer at the beginning of each meeting. This game is based on the 1999 edition of the Program book.

1. Fill in “The Book Belongs to……….” on the opening page.

2. One Page 2 repeat your promise with your patrol (make sure you make the sign (Page 100).

3. What does our motto mean to you in your daily life?

4. Fill in the information on page 3 for your current year in Guiding.

5. Name the four different Challenges you can earn as shown on Pages 4 and 5.

6. Which Challenge encourages you to be physically active, appreciate art and music and learn new crafts? (My future).

7. Which challenge will your Mother like when you help her prepare meals? (My Horizons)

8. Which challenge has you helping other people? (My community)

9. If you like the out of doors, you will like this challenge. (My outdoor Environment)

10. If you take music lessons, what can your Guider do to credit this to a challenge? See page 6 paragraph 3.

11. How many Interest Badges are there in total that you can earn. These start on Page 65. (75)

50. What is a Kim’s Game? (Page 100) Plan on having your patrol play a Kim’s Game next week. Use the items in your patrol box.
