Speaker: Good Evening, Radio GGOC coming live across the airwaves to your living room radios. Turn up those dials, sit back and enjoy the next hour of entertainment. And so it is with pride and pleasure that Radio GGOC presents a special live broadcast of the (insert year here), Event.

What a TERRIFIC sight to see, you folks at home are really missing something special here this evening. But we will describe everything that happens here tonight so it will feel like you’re in our studio audience.

We are going to turn over the microphones in our studio now to the _____________ Girl Guides District Commissioner, __________and we’ll be back later with a word from our sponsors……

DC (District Commissioner): Welcome Everyone!! I am ________. We have many guests, parents and family here this evening, and we would like to say thank you for joining us!

I have the wonderful opportunity to work with an incredible team of ladies. They are the volunteers who meet….sing…. play….listen….. challenge….. and guide your girls each week. It has been quite a year for us all and we are so happy that so many of you have come to celebrate the end of the year with us.

We have a few photography tips for you…..

Our Girls will be entering the gymnasium shortly, and coming up the center aisle, if you could please remain seated – that will give any parents a chance to stand briefly if they are going to take a quick photo.

Later, the girls will be traveling through a “bridge” this evening and standing here in the center to receive their pins. The girls will be held here as a group, so that once all the Sparks, for example, have received their pins, we will turn them around for a group photo opportunity before they sit back down. If all cell phones could be turned off at this time, it would be greatly appreciated.

We are going to get our ceremony started right away with the Grand Entrance….

Pathfinders lead the girls into the gym chanting “Everywhere We Go”, with the following verse modifications:

…we are the Pink Sparks
…we are the Brownies
…we are the Girl Guides
…we are the Pathfinders

DC: What an incredible sea of pink and orange and blue and green!! Welcome Girls!! That was a great entrance by all of you!! We hope that you have a great time here this evening!! Let’s begin our ceremony right away with our Colour Party.
