Thinking Day Ceremonies
February 22nd, World Thinking Day, is a special day for Girl Guides all over the world. It celebrates the birthdays of both Lord and Lady Baden-Powell, the founders of our movement. All over the world, Units mark this day with a variety of special ceremonies.
Thinking Day ceremonies need to be meaningful to the girls and Guiders in the Unit. This is a great time to reinforce Guiding's core values and to deepen everyone's understanding of our Promise and Law.
