Not last night but the night before

24 robbers came knocking at my door

As I went out they came in

This is what they said to me:

Spanish lady turn around

Spanish lady touch the ground

Spanish lady do high kicks

Spanish lady show your nicks! (ie knickers)

The first four lines are spoken and then the last four have a funny tune to them.

to let them in (come back into rope)

They knocked me on the head with a bottle of gin!

Spanish dancer turn around, (face the other rope turner)

Spanish dancer touch the ground, (touch fingers on ground)

Spanish dancer get out of town (leave rope)

Spanish dancer please come back (come back into rope)

Sit on a tack (squat briefly)

Read a book but don't you look! (jump with eyes closed)
