Thanks very much to Janet Brickhouse (a Boy Scout
leader from the US), who e-mailed this song to me! She wrote: "When
Pack 15 performed this song, we used homemade rhythm instruments and had
a patrol flag to wave, but it can also be done with two stomps and a clap
as the rhythm. Practice, stressing that a clean beat is the most effective
part - as well as starting and stopping in sync. I stood slightly in front,
with the boys in a semicircle behind me, and cued the start, beat, and
stop with arm motions. We brought down the house!"
