And here's the version I know:

One day Jelly left his home

He came back all nice and clean,

Chorus:

In any version, you can then substitute LIMA, GREEN, BROWN, BAKED, GARBONZO, REFRIED, MISTER or HUMAN for "JELLY" to make more silly verses!
