In 1910 Girl Guides began

The vision of a single man

It was for boys first, that is true,

But girls soon showed what they could do!

Keep the Promise and the Law

No-one ever can do much more

For 90 years Girl Guides have dared

To do their best to "Be Prepared"

Guides are not always dressed in blue -

They now wear clothes of many a hue.

Although with time, the change the tests,

All they ask is to do your best.

The time has passed, the years have flown

And our movement has now grown
