The Squeeze is Going Around
(to the tune of "The Farmer in the Dell")

When singing the song, everyone in the group stands in a circle, arms crossed over each other, and hands linked to the people on either side. When the song begins, the leader sends a gentle squeeze around the circle. Each girl in turn must pass the squeeze onwards. Whoever receives the squeeze at the end of the song is asked to report back to the Unit at the next meeting about what Good Turn she did in the past week.

Thanks very much to Therese Preece, Carla Paddock, and Dawn MacNeill - all of whom posted versions of this song to the Guiding Mailing List.

The squeeze is going around,
The squeeze is going around,
We think of good things to do each day,
The squeeze is going around!
