Thanks for the Memories

What can I say?
When it's all said and done, thanks for the memories and unforgettable fun.
I leave behind me some very special friends,
But know that Guiding will welcome me
Wherever my path may bend.

For all the special people,
Whom I have the honour of knowing
We will be the leaders of tomorrow
So let's keep the Guiding spirit growing.

The children are who really count,
The Promise and Law their hardest test
While guiding them down the pathway of life
All we can do, is do our best.

When I count the blessings, that guiding can bring
My heart fills with joy at the songs we all sing
One day soon our paths may cross again and I surely hope that they do,
Until such time, when we meet again,
May God bless all of you.
