The Garden
Thanks to Jill Gordon, who posted this reading to
the Guiding Mailing List!
If your garden isn't where you want it to be, then here
are a few "tips" for getting the most out of the soil which is yours
to till.
1. First plant 4 rows of peas:
- PATIENCE
- PROMPTNESS
- PREPARATION
- PERSEVERANCE
2. Next plant 3 rows of squash:
- SQUASH GOSSIP
- SQUASH CRITICISM
- SQUASH INDIFFERENCE
3. Then plant 5 rows of lettuce:
- LET-US BE FAITHFUL
- LET-US BE UNSELFISH
- LET-US BE LOYAL
- LET-US BE TRUE TO OBLIGATIONS
- LET-US LOVE ONE ANOTHER
4. And lastly, no garden is complete without turnips:
- TURN-UP FOR IMPORTANT MEETINGS
- TURN-UP WITH A SMILE
- TURN-UP WITH GOOD IDEAS
- TURN-UP WITH DETERMINATION TO MAKE EVERYTHING GOOD
AND WORTHWHILE
(Editorial Note: If this doesn't get rid of all your
weeds, repeat steps 1-4 as many times as necessary. If this process produced the
results you were looking for, keep repeating steps 1-4 so those weeds don't come
back.)
