Thanks very much to Bernadette Edmunds, who e-mailed me this neat elastic game!

You have two "enders" with the elastic outstretched, starting around their ankles. After all the girls have jumped into the middle of the elastics without touching them. Then the elastic is moved up to mid-calves, then knees, then thighs... as high as you need to go before everyone is "out".

In Chinese Yoki, the same pattern of raising the elastic is used, but instead of jumping into the middle with both feet at the same time, you jump in one foot at a time, sort of like what you do in double-dutch jump-roping.
